El Marisquero in El Monte is a fantastic spot for seafood lovers. I first visited this place during COVID when outdoor dining was the only option, and back then, it had a different name. Despite the rebranding, the food remains exceptional, with their empanadas de camaron being a standout dish. The servers are friendly and attentive, and Nancy, in particular, provides outstanding service. I highly recommend this restaurant for its delicious offerings and great atmosphere, especially since there aren't many places in El Monte that combine excellent seafood with such warm hospitality. The food here does NOT disappoint! My favorite is the Morenita ceviche tostada. It is fire. I've had a few dishes here that haven't disappointed. Oh, and the micheladas are so bomb. I haven't had a decent michelada in so long and this one was full of flavor. I will continue to come back. The service was pretty quick and the waitresses were really nice. They have karaoke nights and it can get pretty loud those days but it's all fun hearing people's hidden talents out.
Favorite go to spot for delicious Mariscos. They have great customer service with live entertainment.
This is our third time coming and we have not been disappointed. Big screen tv full bar. Seafood is always fresh. It is better than El Pescador. You must try!!! It's never too packed this place is hidden and needs to be promoted really good food! We are now regulars
Used to be el perihuete so mariscos are delish and taste super fresh. The michelada was amazing and the vibes were 10/10 w the music playing and the trio walking in doing their rounds of songs. The queso fundido was chorizo was bomb and the tostada de ceviche w salsa negra w out the mango..forgot the name but that so good! Def will be back.

This place was really good! Found this place on yelp! We had the tower which was so tasty and the spiciness creeps up. Also had the oyster shooter which were fire! They had a trio which was cool I would definitely go back and try more of the food!
Ya encontré mi lugar favorito para comer mariscos! Los camarones a la cucaracho estaban deliciosos y súper suaves. La Tostada Mayor fue fenomenal! Gracias a nuestra mesera Karina! Fue súper amable y muy atenta. Definitivamente regresamos!
